1. Campaign Overview The purpose of the campaign is to encourage the use of Karri Cards by offering monthly prizes to eligible cardholders and facilitating charitable donations on their behalf.
2. Eligibility
The campaign is open to all holders of an active Karri Card who are South African residents.
Cardholders must make at least one transaction using their Karri Card in a given calendar month to be eligible for that month’s draw.
Winners under the age of 18 must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to participate and receive prizes.
Karri employees and their immediate families are not eligible to win prizes.
2. Prize Details
Each month, up to three winners will be selected at random from eligible entries.
Each winner will receive: R1,000 added to their Karri Card for personal use plus R1,000 donated on their behalf to a registered charity (Public Benefit Organisation) of their choice.
3. Campaign Period
The Campaign will run from 23 April 2025, with monthly draws from April to June 2025.
A grand prize draw will be held at the end of the year for all Karri Card users who have made 10 or more transactions during the campaign period.
3. Charity Requirements
The nominated charity must be a legitimate South African Public Benefit Organisation (PBO), as defined by the South African Revenue Service (SARS).
To qualify, the organisation must be registered as a PBO with SARS and have a valid PBO number. They must operate on a non-profit basis with a public benefit purpose. Finally, they must demonstrate that its activities serve the general public or a section thereof with altruistic intent.
3. Charity Requirements

Karri may reject a nominated organisation if it fails to meet these criteria or if it is deemed to be controversial, non-compliant, or misaligned with Karri’s values.
3. Winner announcement and Participation
Winners will be contacted directly via the contact details associated with their Karri Card account.
Winners may be invited to participate in a symbolic handover of the donation (e.g. with an oversized Karri Card) and in marketing content.
Karri will not cover the cost of transport to and from the charity organisation, however, reasonable costs of travel within the same city may be considered on a case by case basis.
Participation in media or promotional content is voluntary and subject to parental consent where applicable.
3. General
By participating in the Campaign, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for alternative forms of compensation.
Karri reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Campaign at any time without prior notice.
Any disputes or issues arising from the Campaign will be resolved at the sole discretion of Karri.
